- Ed is a 32-year-old, happily married, father of two, five-time marathoner sponsored by his beer gut and an all around happy go lucky kind of guy, except when he's surly, moody or otherwise pissed off. He's trying to be an Ironman, in the November 2008 Arizona Ford Ironman. He's also trying to raise money for Tempe Community Action Agency, a local nonprofit that aims to help families, children, elderly and the homeless get back on their feet through emergency food, utility and medical programs.
